When should I book flights?

Fly into Barcelona (BCN). July is high season in Catalonia, so book early. Plan to be nearby on Tuesday, July 6 and Wednesday, July 7.

Where should I stay?

Near the venue, not in Barcelona city. See the Travel & Stay page for the room block and our recommendations.

Do I need to rent a car?

In short:
No car needed if you stay in Vic.

In long:
Vic is accessible by train from Barcelona, has a walkable town center, and will have a shuttle running to/from the venue on the day. Other accommodation may only be accessible by car from Barcelona. A car is handy for exploring the Catalonian countryside before or after the wedding day!

What should I wear?

Dress code is Garden Formal.

This means: Relaxed suit or sport coat with trousers, ties optional. Midi/maxi formal dress. Sophisticated separates or jumpsuit.

Note for footwear: while the party will be indoors, the ceremony will take place in a grass field. We recommend a block heel, wedge, or flats.

Can I bring my children?

Your invitation lists everyone in your household who is invited. If you are unsure, just ask us!

Can I Bring a Plus One?

Your invitation will list a Guest if we have planned space for you to bring one. If your invitation does not say + Guest, please ask us directly before inviting anyone else.

What is the weather like in July?

Dry. Hot in the peak of the day (high of 90F/32C), cool once the sun goes down (low of 55F/13C).

We are planning outdoor events later in the day, when the temperature will be most comfortable.

Consider bringing a light layer for the evening.

Do I need to speak Spanish to explore Catalonia?
